The prices listed on Barcando are set by our partner charter companies and refer to the rental of the boat, including necessary equipment such as safety gear and electronics. These prices also cover the assistance of the boat owner during the cruise.

  • Rental Costs: Include the boat and all necessary equipment.
  • Mandatory Costs (compulsory extras): These are fees that must be paid at the base before departure, such as final cleaning (set by the charter company).
  • Optional Costs (extra services): These are additional services chosen by the customer, such as a skipper, outboard engine, bed linen, SUP, etc. They are generally paid at the base during check-in. Check the boat listing for a full list of available options.

The rental fee does not include fuel, provisions, transportation, port fees, or tourist taxes. Each charter company may have different exclusions; for more details, consult your Barcando representative.

Rental payments are made in two installments: 50% upon booking and 50% 40 days before departure. If the booking is made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Extras (mandatory and optional) are usually paid at the base during check-in. Some companies require pre-payment.

A security deposit (to cover potential damages) is required at check-in via credit card.

It will be released upon check-out after the boat inspection.

A valid boat license is required for rentals. Regulations vary by country: for example, in France, a nautical CV is required, while in Croatia, a VHF certificate is mandatory.

We recommend verifying the specific requirements for your rental destination. Barcando can assist in checking the necessary documents.

Check-in and check-out times are determined by the charter company.
Typically, check-in is on Saturday afternoon, and check-out is the day before departure.

The boats available on our platform are managed exclusively by professional boat owners and selected charter companies accredited with leading booking systems.

The balance must be paid one month before departure (if the departure is imminent, full payment is required immediately). Extras are paid directly to the charter company at the base.

Regulations vary by country: in Italy, these roles are not regulated, but charter companies strongly recommend hiring a skipper.
